The Palm Beach Classic is PLAY AT THE PLATE’S signature event. As we travel to different venues and cities across North America, one thing remains constant for us; we will always be playing baseball at Roger Dean Stadium and Complex every April. This event has grown steadily in the past 5 years, and we enjoyed our largest turn-out EVER this past April.

This event has more to offer than most of our other tournaments. Firstly, you’ll be playing at one of America’s premier facilities. You’ll have your own locker to store and keep your uniforms and equipment in for 4 days, have full use of the locker room. Daily BP set up with all the screens and our pitching machine throwing strikes, as you get some hacks in before your morning game. You’ll enjoy a catered lunch between games in the Stadium Pavilion in Right Field. After your afternoon game, a cold beer will be waiting for you in the clubhouse, as you shower and get ready for an exciting evening in the Palm Beaches. The clubbie will do your laundry for you too if you like. (In other words, tip him on your way out Sunday). We’ll have our famous massage therapists on hand, and this year a trainer to help with those pulled muscles and sprains.
You’ll play 7 games, with at least one in the Stadium, as you hear your name announced on the P.A. system. The back fields are to die for as they are impeccably manicured and made ready for us to play on. Hell, if they’re good enough for the Cardinals and Marlins to run around on, they’re plenty good for us. The Stadium is set amongst a small village called Abacoa, with trendy shops and restaurants surrounding the field. It’s a beautiful setting to play in. Our watering hole after games is J.J. Muggs Sports Grill, located directly behind the right field wall. It’s just to perfect.
This year we’ll have an early arrival practice on Wednesday for those of you getting into town early. We’ll even have a rate for the Golf Course across the street.
Hope to see you in 2009!
Scott Green
